There are common threads running through the work of these artists whether it is articulated or not. Our earth and its magnificence, and/or responses to our environment, are the stimuli. Color and light are carefully and meticulously depicted on canvas and paper, as well as in fiber and glass. The manipulation of clay, wood, and metal allows a centering for the sculptors. Depending on the emotion the work evokes, either passive or intense, there is a spiritual quality.
